About
Hi, my name is TK and I am the sole owner of TK's candles! The business started in 2020, in the midst of the pandemic, as a way for people to find comfort during a time of uncertainty. I initially started making candles as gifts for friends and family, which turned into a huge passion of mine. Soon after, I decided to develop a small business. Candle-making not only gave me the opportunity to channel my inner creativity, but it also allowed me to fill homes with warmth, comfort, joy, and nostalgia. TK's Candles is a woman-led business which prides itself on creating high-quality, hand-made products with the most natural ingredients for others to enjoy.
My Story
I recently graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a Women's and Gender Studies major in 2022. I am currently finishing my masters in the Professional MBA program at Saint Mary's College as a softball coach.

My undergraduate studies inspired me to create a business that amplifies women's voices and to support women who have created their own businesses. I firmly believe that women and marginalized communities should have the opportunities and resources to create meaningful businesses, spurred by their own passions and experiences.

My goal for the business is to continue expanding throughout the country, creating more unique products, and finding ways to help other women-led businesses.
